  Salah satu group band rock papan atas adalah Avenged Sevenfold. Suara vokalis yang khas M. Shadow yang serak-serak basah dan sangat powerfull membuat setiap lagu yang dinyanyikannya menjadi lebih nge-rock dan gahar namun beberapa lagu yang dinyanyikan dengan slow ternyata tidak kalah enak didengar dan menurut saya mengingatkan lagu–lagu slow rock masa 90-an yang sudah jarang dibuat oleh group band-group band sekarang.

Kematian drummer Avenged Sevenfold (James Owen Sullivan) tidak menyurutkan mereka untuk kembali mengelluarkan album baru. Tepatnya pada bulan juli kemarin dikeluarkan album barunya yang diberi titel “Nightmare”. Di dalam album baru ini tidak kalah juga dengan album-album sebelumnya bersamaan dengan drummer barunya.
